TG Series

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Flat-head screwdriver
  • Telephone line tester
  • Wall anchors (if mounting)
  • Drill (for wall mounting)

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location near a telephone jack with adequate ventilation and away from direct sunlight or moisture.
  2. Unpack and Inspect: Remove all packaging materials and check for any visible damage to the phone unit and accessories.
  3. Connect Telephone Line: Connect the telephone line cord from the wall jack to the LINE port on the back of the phone base.
  4. Connect Handset: Connect the coiled handset cord from the handset to the HANDSET port on the phone base.
  5. Power Connection: Connect the AC adapter to the power port on the phone base and plug into a standard electrical outlet.
  6. Battery Installation: Install rechargeable batteries in the handset for cordless operation (if applicable to your TG model).
  7. Test Operation: Wait for the phone to initialize, then test by making and receiving calls to ensure proper installation.
Warning: Use only Panasonic-approved accessories and ensure proper grounding to prevent electrical hazards.
