Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place base station on flat surface.

  1. Charge handset: Insert battery, place on base for 10 hours initial charge.
  2. Connect telephone line: Plug line cord from wall jack to TEL LINE port on base.
  3. Connect power: Plug AC adapter into base and electrical outlet.
  4. Install additional handsets: Register each handset to base following manual.

WARNING! Use only approved AC adapter and battery. Do not place near water or heat sources.

First-Time Setup

Power on base and handset; follow prompts.

  1. Set date/time: Press MENU, select SETTINGS, set current date and time.
  2. Set language: In SETTINGS menu, select ENGLISH (default).
  3. Program phonebook: Add entries via MENU > PHONEBOOK.
  4. Configure answering machine: Set greeting and recording time via base controls.

Using the Answering Machine

Digital answering system with remote access.

  1. Record greeting: Press GREETING on base, speak after beep.
  2. Set answer mode: Choose ANSWER ON, ANSWER ONLY, or OFF.
  3. Play messages: Press PLAY/STOP on base or handset.
  4. Delete messages: Press DELETE during playback.
  5. Remote access: Call from outside, enter remote access code (default 0000).
  6. Record memo: Press MEMO to leave message for household.

WARNING! Do not disconnect power during recording; may cause message loss.

Advanced Features

Intercom: Press INTERCOM, select handset number, talk. Call Block: Block specific numbers via menu. Conference Call: Merge up to 3 calls. Speed Dial: Assign numbers to speed dial keys.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug before cleaning. Wipe with dry, soft cloth. Clean handset with mild detergent if needed.
