Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place base unit on stable surface.

  1. Connect telephone line: Plug telephone line cord into base unit TEL LINE jack and wall jack.
  2. Charge handset: Insert batteries, place handset on base charger for 7 hours initial charge.
  3. Connect power: Plug AC adapter into base unit and wall outlet.
  4. Set date/time: Follow prompts on handset display.

WARNING! Use only provided Panasonic adapter. Do not expose to water or extreme temperatures.

First-Time Setup

Power on base and handset; follow on-screen prompts.

  1. Set date/time: Press MENU, select SETTINGS > DATE/TIME.
  2. Register handset: Handset auto-registers with base; if not, press and hold PAGE on base until IN USE light flashes.
  3. Set answering machine: Press ANS ON/OFF on base to activate; record outgoing message.

  2. Record outgoing message: Press and hold RECORD on base, speak after beep.
  3. Play messages: Press PLAY/STOP on base or handset.
  4. Delete messages: Press DELETE during playback.
  5. Remote access: Dial your number, press * during announcement, enter remote code (default 0000).
  6. Announce Only Mode: Plays outgoing message without recording.

WARNING! Do not disconnect power during recording; may cause memory loss.
