Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place base unit on a flat, stable surface away from electronic interference.

  1. Charge the handset: Insert battery into handset, place on base unit charger for 7 hours.
  2. Connect telephone line: Plug one end of phone cord into TEL LINE jack on base, other end into wall jack.
  3. Connect power: Plug AC adapter into DC IN 9V jack on base, then into electrical outlet.
  4. Add extra handsets: Register additional handsets to the base unit following manual instructions.

WARNING! Use only the provided Panasonic AC adapter and battery. Do not disassemble or short-circuit the battery.

First-Time Setup

After installation, power on the base and handset.

  1. Set date and time: Press MENU on handset, select SETTINGS > DATE & TIME.

Connecting Devices

  1. Ensure phone is unplugged from power before connecting.
  2. Connect telephone line cord from wall jack to TEL LINE on base.
  3. For headset use, plug compatible 2.5mm headset into handset jack.
  4. Plug AC adapter into base and wall outlet.

Tip: Avoid placing base near microwaves, routers, or other electronics to prevent interference.

Using the Answering Machine

Digital answering machine with remote access.

  1. Record outgoing message: Press ANS/PLAY on base, then REC/OGM to record greeting.
  2. Play messages: Press ANS/PLAY to listen; use SKIP/DELETE to skip or delete.
  3. Remote access: Call your number, after greeting press * and enter remote code (default 0000).
  4. Adjust settings: Press MENU on handset, select ANSWERING MACHINE for options.
  5. Memo recording: Press MEMO on base to record a memo for household.

WARNING! Do not disconnect power while answering machine is in use to avoid message loss.
