Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place base unit on flat surface.

  1. Charge handset: Connect AC adapter to base, plug into outlet. Place handset on base for 7 hours initial charge.
  2. Connect telephone line: Plug line cord from wall jack to TEL LINE jack on base.
  3. Install battery: Insert battery pack into handset, align contacts, close cover.
  4. Power on: Press and hold handset POWER key until display lights up.

WARNING! Use only provided AC adapter. Do not place near heat sources or water.

First-Time Setup

After installation, configure basic settings.

  1. Set date/time: Press MENU, select SETTINGS > DATE/TIME, enter current date and time.
  2. Set language: In SETTINGS menu, select LANGUAGE (default ENGLISH).
  3. Register handsets: For additional handsets, place on base, press and hold PAGE on base until handset shows registered.
  4. Set answering machine: Press ANS ON/OFF on base to turn on; record greeting by pressing MEMO/ANNC.

  3. For headset, insert plug into handset jack.
  4. Plug AC adapter into base and wall outlet.

Tip: Use surge protector for telephone line to prevent damage from power surges.

Using the Answering Machine

Digital answering machine with remote access.

  1. Turn on/off: Press ANS ON/OFF on base.
  2. Record greeting: Press MEMO/ANNC, speak after beep, press again to stop.
  3. Play messages: Press PLAY/SKIP on base; use VOLUME to adjust.
  4. Delete messages: Press DELETE during playback.
  5. Remote access: Dial your number, after greeting press * and enter remote code (default 0000).
  6. Skip messages: Press PLAY/SKIP to skip to next message.
  7. Memo recording: Press MEMO/ANNC during standby to record memo.

WARNING! Do not disconnect power while answering machine is recording or playing.

Advanced Features

Call Block: Add numbers via MENU > CALL BLOCK. Intercom: Press INTERCOM on handset, select other handset or base. Phonebook: Store entries with name/number via MENU > PHONEBOOK. Headset Mode: Plug in headset, press MENU to enable headset mode.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning. Wipe handset and base with dry, soft cloth. Do not use liquids or abrasive cleaners.
