Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Telephone line cord
  • Power adapter
  • Batteries (for backup)
  • Flat surface for placement

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location near a telephone jack and power outlet on a stable, flat surface.
  2. Connect Telephone Line: Connect one end of the telephone line cord to the answering machine and the other end to the telephone wall jack.
  3. Connect Handset: If using a corded/cordless handset, connect it to the answering machine base unit.
  4. Power Connection: Connect the power adapter to the answering machine and plug it into a standard 120V AC outlet.
  5. Battery Installation: Install backup batteries to maintain settings and messages during power outages.
  6. Set Time and Date: Use the control panel to set the current time and date for accurate message time stamping.
  7. Record Greeting: Record your personal outgoing message following the voice prompts.
  8. Test Operation: Make a test call to verify the answering machine picks up and records messages properly.
Warning: Use only the provided power adapter. Installation should be performed according to local telephone regulations.

Troubleshooting
