Digital Business Telephone System

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Network cable tester
  • Telephone line tester
  • Punch down tool
  • Voltage meter

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. System Location Selection: Choose a well-ventilated location near network and telephone line connections, protected from direct sunlight and moisture.
  2. Unpack and Inventory: Remove all components from packaging and verify all parts against the packing list.
  3. Main Unit Installation: Mount the KX-NS600 main unit on a wall or rack using provided brackets.
  4. Power Connection: Connect to a dedicated 100-240V AC power source with proper grounding. Use the provided power cord.
  5. Network Configuration: Connect the system to your local area network using Ethernet cable to the WAN port.
  6. Telephone Line Connection: Connect PSTN lines to the designated FXO ports on the main unit.
  7. Extension Setup: Connect digital and IP phones to appropriate ports and configure extension numbers.
  8. System Initialization: Power on the system and run the initial setup wizard via web interface.
Warning: Installation should be performed by qualified technicians. Incorrect installation may void warranty and cause system malfunction.
