Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Telephone line cable
  • Power adapter
  • Batteries (for handset)
  • Screwdriver (if wall mounting)
  • Telephone line splitter (optional)

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location near a telephone jack and power outlet, on a flat surface away from electronic interference.
  2. Connect Telephone Line: Connect the telephone line cable from the base unit to the telephone wall jack.
  3. Power Connection: Connect the power adapter to the base unit and plug into a standard 120V AC outlet.
  4. Install Batteries: Insert rechargeable batteries into the handset(s) following polarity markings.
  5. Charging: Place handset on base unit charger and allow to charge for at least 7 hours before first use.
  6. System Setup: Follow on-screen prompts to set time, date, and answering machine settings.
  7. Test Operation: Test the answering machine by calling from another phone and leaving a test message.
Warning: Use only Panasonic-approved accessories. Installation near other electronic devices may cause interference.

Troubleshooting
