Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Telephone line cord
  • Power adapter
  • Batteries (for handset)
  • Wall mount screws (optional)
  • Screwdriver (for wall mounting)

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location near telephone jack and power outlet on a flat, stable surface.
  2. Connect Telephone Line: Connect the telephone line cord from the wall jack to the answering machine's LINE port.
  3. Connect Handset: If applicable, connect the handset to the base unit using the provided cord.
  4. Power Connection: Connect the power adapter to the answering machine and plug into a standard electrical outlet.
  5. Battery Installation: Install batteries in the handset following the polarity markings (+/-).
  6. Set Time and Date: Use the control panel to set the current time and date for accurate message time stamps.
  7. Record Greeting: Record your personal outgoing message following the instructions in the manual.
  8. Test Operation: Make a test call to verify answering machine functions properly.
