Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Charge the Battery: Insert the rechargeable battery into the handset and place it on the base unit to charge for at least 7 hours before first use.
  2. Connect Base Unit: Connect the telephone line cord from the base unit to your telephone wall jack.
  3. Power Connection: Connect the AC power adapter to the base unit and plug it into a standard electrical outlet.
  4. Handset Registration: The handset will automatically register to the base unit. Wait for the registration tone (approximately 30 seconds).
  5. Set Time and Date: Press MENU button on handset, navigate to settings, and set the current time and date.
  6. Test the Phone: Make a test call to ensure proper installation and clear audio quality.
  7. Wall Mounting (Optional): If desired, mount the base unit on the wall using the provided wall mount bracket.
Warning: Use only the provided Panasonic AC adapter. Using other adapters may damage the phone and void the warranty.

Troubleshooting
