Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place base unit on flat surface away from electronic interference.

  1. Connect telephone line: Plug telephone line cord into base unit LINE jack and wall jack.
  2. Connect power: Plug AC adapter into base unit DC IN 9V jack and electrical outlet.
  3. Charge handset: Place handset on base unit or charger; charge for 7 hours before first use.
  4. Install battery: Insert supplied rechargeable battery into handset if not pre-installed.

WARNING! Use only supplied Panasonic AC adapter and battery. Do not expose to water or extreme temperatures.

First-Time Setup

After installation, follow these steps to configure your phone.

  1. Set date and time: Press MENU on handset, select SETTINGS > DATE & TIME.

Using the Answering Machine

  1. Record outgoing message: Press ANS/PLAY on base, follow prompts.
  2. Set number of rings: MENU > ANSWERING SETTINGS > NUMBER OF RINGS.
  3. Play messages: Press ANS/PLAY on base or remote access from outside.
  4. Delete messages: Press DELETE during playback.
  5. Remote access: Dial your number, press * during outgoing message, enter remote code (default 0000).

WARNING! Do not disconnect power to base unit as it will erase all messages.

Advanced Features

Call Block: Add numbers via CALL BLOCK menu. Intercom: Press INTERCOM, select handset. Conference Call: Merge outside call with intercom call. Eco Mode: Reduces power when handset is on charger.

Care & Cleaning
