Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place base unit on flat surface.

  1. Charge handset batteries: Connect AC adapter to base, plug into outlet. Place handset(s) on base to charge for 7 hours before first use.
  2. Connect telephone line: Plug one end of telephone cord into TEL LINE jack on base, other end into wall telephone jack.
  3. Install battery: Insert battery pack into handset, aligning polarity. Charge fully.
  4. Register additional handset: Follow on-screen prompts to sync with base.

First-Time Setup

  3. For VoIP: Connect base to VoIP adapter or router phone port.
  4. Register handset: Place in base, press and hold PAGE on base until IN USE light flashes.

Tip: Ensure telephone service is active. Test by lifting handset and listening for dial tone.

Using the Answering Machine

  1. Record outgoing message: Press MENU > ANSWERING MACHINE > OUTGOING MESSAGE.
  2. Set answer mode: Choose ANSWER ON, ANSWER ONLY, or OFF.
  3. Play messages: Press PLAY/STOP on base or MENU > PLAY MESSAGES on handset.
  4. Delete messages: Press DELETE during playback.
  5. Remote access: Dial your number from outside, press * during outgoing message, enter remote code (default 0000).
  6. Announcement Only: Record message without taking messages.
