Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Place the base unit on a flat surface near a telephone jack and power outlet. Avoid locations near microwave ovens or other electronic devices.
- Install Battery: Insert the rechargeable battery into the handset, matching the polarity (+/-) markings.
- Charge Handset: Place the handset on the base unit and allow it to charge for at least 7 hours before first use.
- Connect Telephone Line: Connect the telephone line cord from the base unit to the telephone wall jack.
- Power Connection: Connect the AC power adapter to the base unit and plug into a standard 120V AC outlet.
- Register Handset: The handset should automatically register with the base unit. If not, follow the manual registration procedure.
- Test Operation: Make a test call to ensure proper installation and clear audio quality.
