Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place base unit on stable surface away from electronic interference.

  1. Charge handset: Insert battery, place on base for 7 hours initial charge.
  2. Connect telephone line: Plug line cord from wall jack to TEL LINE port on base.
  3. Connect power: Plug AC adapter into base and wall outlet.
  4. Install additional handsets: Register each handset to base (see manual).

WARNING! Use only supplied Panasonic adapter and battery. Do not disassemble.

First-Time Setup

Power on base and handset; follow prompts.

  1. Set date/time: Press MENU on handset, select SETTINGS > DATE/TIME.

Connecting Devices

Telephone Line: Standard RJ11 cord. Additional Handsets: Register via base (max 6).

  2. On new handset, press and hold PAGE until IN USE flashes.
  3. On base, press and hold HANDSET LOCATOR for 5 seconds.
  4. Wait for confirmation tone.

Tip: Keep base unit elevated for better range.

Using the Answering Machine

Digital system with remote access.

  1. Record outgoing message: Press RECORD on base, speak, press RECORD again.
  2. Set ring count: Press ANSWER ON/OFF to select 2,4,6, or TOL (toll saver).
  3. Play messages: Press PLAY/STOP on base or dial remotely.
  4. Delete messages: Press DELETE during playback.
  5. Remote access: Dial your number, enter remote code (default 0000) after outgoing message.

WARNING! Do not disconnect power during recording.

Advanced Features
