Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place base unit on stable surface away from electronic interference.

  1. Connect telephone line: Plug line cord into base unit TEL LINE jack and wall jack.
  2. Charge handsets: Insert battery packs, place on base or charger for 7 hours initial charge.
  3. Connect power: Plug AC adapter into base unit and wall outlet.
  4. Set time/date: Use handset menu to set after power is connected.

WARNING! Use only supplied Panasonic adapter. Do not place near microwaves, routers, or other cordless phones.

First-Time Setup

Power on base; handsets will automatically register.

  1. Set language: Press MENU, select SETTINGS > LANGUAGE.
  2. Set time/date: MENU > SETTINGS > DATE & TIME.
  3. Set answering machine: MENU > ANSWERING MACHINE > ON, set greeting and recording time.

  2. Press and hold HANDSET LOCATOR on base for 5 seconds until beep.
  3. On new handset, press and hold MENU until "REGISTERING" appears.
  4. Wait for confirmation beep.

Tip: For best reception, place base unit centrally, away from large metal objects.

Using the Answering Machine

Digital recording, remote access, customizable greeting.

  1. Turn On/Off: MENU > ANSWERING MACHINE > ON/OFF.
  2. Record Greeting: MENU > ANSWERING MACHINE > RECORD GREETING, speak after beep, press OK.
  3. Play Messages: Press PLAY/STOP on base or MENU > PLAY MESSAGES on handset.
  4. Delete Messages: During playback, press DELETE.
  5. Remote Access: Dial your number, after greeting, enter remote code (default 0000).
  6. Set Recording Time: MENU > ANSWERING MACHINE > RECORD TIME (1 or 2 minutes).

WARNING! Do not disconnect power during recording; messages may be lost.

Advanced Features

Call Block: Add numbers via MENU > CALL BLOCK. Intercom: Press INTERCOM, select handset/base, press TALK. ECO Mode: Reduces radiation and power; enable in MENU > ECO MODE.
