Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place base unit on a flat, stable surface.

  1. Charge the handset: Insert battery into handset, place on base charger for 7 hours before first use.
  2. Connect telephone line: Plug one end of telephone cord into TEL LINE jack on base, other end into wall jack.
  3. Connect power: Plug AC adapter into DC IN 9V jack on base, then into wall outlet.
  4. Install additional handsets: Register each handset to the base following manual instructions.

WARNING! Use only the provided Panasonic AC adapter and battery. Do not expose to water or extreme temperatures.

First-Time Setup

After installation, power on the base and handset.

  1. Set date and time: Press MENU on handset, select SETTINGS > DATE/TIME.

Using the Answering Machine

  4. Delete messages: Press DELETE during playback.
