Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place base unit on stable surface away from electronic interference.

  1. Install battery: Insert rechargeable battery into handset, connect terminals, place handset on base to charge for 7 hours.
  2. Connect telephone line: Plug line cord into base unit TEL LINE jack and wall jack.
  3. Connect power: Plug AC adapter into base unit DC IN 9V jack and wall outlet.
  4. Install additional handsets: Register each handset to base following manual instructions.

WARNING! Use only supplied Panasonic adapter. Do not expose to water or extreme temperatures.

First-Time Setup

Power on base and handset; follow prompts.

  1. Set date/time: Press MENU on handset, select SETTINGS, set date and time.
  2. Set language: In SETTINGS menu, select ENGLISH (default).
  3. Set ringer volume/tones: Use VOLUME keys and MENU options.
  4. Register handsets: Press and hold HANDSET LOCATOR on base, then press and hold # on handset until confirmation beep.

Connecting Devices

Telephone line: Use included cord to wall jack. Headset: Plug 2.5mm headset into handset jack. Additional handsets: Register to base.

  1. Ensure base is powered and phone line connected.
  2. For headset, plug in when handset is off.
  3. To add handset, follow registration steps in manual.

Tip: Keep base unit away from microwaves, routers, or other electronics to prevent interference.

Using the Answering Machine

Digital answering machine with remote access.

  1. Record outgoing message: Press MEMO/OGM on base, speak after beep, press again to stop.
  2. Set number of rings: MENU > ANSWERING MACHINE > RINGS (2,3,4,5, TOL).
  3. Play messages: Press PLAY/SKIP on base or handset.
  4. Delete messages: Press DELETE during playback.
  5. Remote access: Dial your number, after OGM press * and enter remote code (default 0000).

WARNING! Do not disconnect power or messages may be lost.
