Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place base unit on flat surface.

  1. Charge handset: Insert battery into handset, place on base charger for 7 hours.
  2. Connect telephone line: Plug line cord from wall jack to TEL LINE port on base.
  3. Connect power: Plug AC adapter into base and wall outlet.
  4. Install additional handsets: Register each handset to base following manual instructions.

WARNING! Use only supplied Panasonic adapter. Do not place near water or heat sources.

First-Time Setup

Power on base and handset; follow prompts.

  1. Set date and time: Press MENU on handset, select SETTINGS > DATE/TIME.
  2. Set language: In SETTINGS menu, select LANGUAGE (default ENGLISH).
  3. Register handsets: Press and hold PAGE on base until IN USE flashes, then press # on handset.

Using the Answering Machine

  2. Set rings: MENU > ANSWERING > RINGS (2, 4, 6, TEL only).
  3. Play messages: Press PLAY/STOP on base or handset.
  4. Delete messages: During playback, press DELETE.
  5. Remote access: Call from outside, enter remote code (default 0000) to play messages.

WARNING! Do not disconnect power while answering machine is in use to avoid message loss.

Advanced Features

Call Block: Add numbers via MENU > CALL BLOCK. Intercom: Press INTERCOM on handset, select other handset/base. ECO Mode: Reduces power; enable in SETTINGS.
