Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Charge the Battery: Insert the rechargeable battery into the handset and place it on the base unit to charge for at least 7 hours before first use.
  2. Connect Base Unit: Connect the telephone line cord from the base unit to your telephone wall jack.
  3. Power Connection: Connect the AC power adapter to the base unit and plug it into a standard electrical outlet.
  4. Handset Registration: The handset will automatically register with the base unit. Wait for the registration confirmation tone.
  5. Date and Time Setup: Set the current date and time using the handset menu for accurate call log recording.
  6. Answering System Setup: Configure your answering machine settings including greeting message and number of rings.
  7. Test Operation: Make a test call to ensure proper installation and functionality.
Note: Keep the base unit away from other electronic devices to prevent interference. Ensure adequate ventilation around the base unit.
