Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place base unit on a flat, stable surface.

  1. Charge the handset: Connect AC adapter to base and wall outlet. Place handset on base to charge for 7 hours before first use.
  2. Connect telephone line: Plug one end of telephone cord into TEL LINE jack on base, other end into wall telephone jack.
  3. Install battery: Insert rechargeable battery into handset, aligning polarity.
  4. Register additional handsets: Follow prompts in manual for pairing.

WARNING! Use only the supplied Panasonic AC adapter and battery. Do not expose to water or extreme temperatures.

First-Time Setup

After installation, power on the system and follow prompts.

  1. Set date and time: Press MENU on handset, navigate to SETTINGS > DATE/TIME.

  3. Program answering machine: Press ANS/PLAY on base to record outgoing message.

Connecting Devices

Telephone Line: Standard RJ11 jack. Headset: 2.5mm jack on handset.

  2. Connect telephone line cord securely.
  3. For headset, plug into jack on side of handset.

Tip: Use a surge protector for telephone line to protect against power surges.

Using the Answering Machine

Digital answering machine with remote access.

  1. Record Outgoing Message (OGM): Press ANS/PLAY on base, follow voice prompts.
  2. Play messages: Press ANS/PLAY on base or handset.
  3. Delete messages: Press DELETE during playback.
  4. Skip messages: Press SKIP during playback.
  5. Remote access: Call your number, enter remote access code (default 0000) after OGM.
  6. Change settings: MENU > ANSWERING MACHINE > set ring count, OGM, etc.

WARNING! Do not disconnect power while answering machine is in use to avoid message loss.

Advanced Features

Call Block: Add numbers via MENU > CALL BLOCK. Intercom: Press INTERCOM on one handset, then dial handset number (e.g., 2). Caller ID: Requires service from provider; recent calls stored in directory. Speed Dial: Store up to 9 numbers.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug from power and telephone line before cleaning. Wipe with soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquids or abrasive cleaners.
