Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place charging cradle on a stable, flat surface.

  1. Install Battery: Insert battery pack into handset, aligning contacts. Charge for 7 hours before first use.
  2. Connect Base Station: Connect telephone line cord from wall jack to "LINE" port on base. Plug AC adapter into base and wall outlet.
  3. Place Handset: Position handset on charging cradle to begin charging.
  4. Register Handset: Follow registration process to link handset with base station.

WARNING! Use only the provided Panasonic AC adapter and battery. Do not disassemble or short-circuit the battery.

First-Time Setup

After installation, power on the base station and handset.

  1. Set Time and Date: Use handset menu to set current time and date for caller ID records.
  2. Register Handset: Press and hold the "HANDSET LOCATOR" button on base for about 5 seconds until registration tone is heard.

  3. Speakerphone: Press SPEAKERPHONE during a call for hands-free operation.
