Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place charger on a stable surface.

  1. Install Battery: Open battery compartment, insert battery pack, connect terminals, close cover.

Making and Receiving Calls

Basic call functions.

  1. Make a Call: Press TALK, dial number, or select from Phonebook/Caller List.
  2. Answer a Call: Press TALK or any key (except OFF) when ringing.
  3. End a Call: Press OFF or place handset on charger.
  4. Speakerphone: Press SPEAKER during a call for hands-free; press again to return to handset.
  5. Mute: Press MUTE during a call to silence your microphone.
  6. Volume: Use Volume keys during a call to adjust earpiece or speakerphone volume.

WARNING! Do not use the phone near medical equipment or in potentially explosive atmospheres.

Advanced Features

Intercom: Press INTERCOM, then the number of the handset you want to call. Call Waiting: During a call, a beep indicates another call; press TALK/FLASH to answer. Caller ID: Requires subscription; caller information displays on incoming calls (store in phonebook). Phonebook: Store, edit, or dial entries via MENU. Answering System: Access base unit's messages by pressing and holding the 1 key when idle.

Care & Maintenance
