Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place base station and charging cradle on a stable surface.

  1. Charge the handset: Connect the AC adapter to the charging cradle and plug into a wall outlet. Place the handset on the cradle to charge for at least 7 hours before first use.
  2. Install the battery: Remove battery compartment cover, connect the battery plug, insert the battery, and replace the cover.
  3. Register the handset to the base station: Follow the base station's registration procedure (usually involves pressing a button on the base).

WARNING! Use only the provided Panasonic AC adapter and battery. Do not disassemble the handset.

First-Time Setup

After charging, power on the handset and follow prompts.

  1. Set language and time/date: Use the MENU button to access settings.

Making and Receiving Calls

Making a Call: Press TALK/FLASH or SPEAKERPHONE, dial number, or use Phonebook/Redial.

  1. Receiving a Call: Press TALK/FLASH, SPEAKERPHONE, or any number key when phone rings.
  2. Ending a Call: Press OFF or place handset on charging cradle.
  3. Mute: Press MUTE during a call to turn microphone off/on.
  4. Volume: Adjust during a call with VOLUME buttons.
  5. Call Waiting: Press TALK/FLASH to answer a second call (service dependent).
  6. Transfer Call: Press TALK/FLASH to transfer a call to another registered handset.

WARNING! Do not use the phone in explosive atmospheres or during electrical storms.

Advanced Features

Intercom: Press and hold the PAGE button on the handset to call another registered handset. Press TALK/FLASH on the receiving handset to answer.

Phonebook: Store up to 50 entries with name and number. Access via MENU > Phonebook.

Call Log: View missed, received, and dialed calls.

ECO Mode: Reduces transmission power when handset is close to base to save energy. Enable/disable in MENU > Handset Settings.

Care & Maintenance

Clean handset and cradle with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners.
