Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place base unit on flat surface away from electronic interference.

Using the Answering Machine

  1. Turn on/off: Press ANS ON/OFF on base (light indicates status).
  2. Record greeting: Press and hold GREETING, speak after beep, release when done.
  3. Play messages: Press PLAY/STOP on base or remotely from handset.
  4. Delete messages: Press DELETE during or after playback.
  5. Remote retrieval: Dial your number from outside, enter 4-digit remote code (default 0000).
  6. Adjust ring count: Press MENU > ANSWERING SYSTEM > RINGS TO ANSWER (2-9 rings).

WARNING! Do not disconnect power while answering system is active to avoid message loss.
