Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place base unit on stable surface.

  1. Connect telephone line: Plug line cord into base TEL LINE jack and wall jack.
  2. Charge handset: Insert battery, place handset on base for 7 hours initial charge.
  3. Connect power: Plug AC adapter into base and electrical outlet.

First-Time Setup

Power on base; handset will beep when ready.

  3. Play messages: Press PLAY/STOP on base or handset.
  4. Delete messages: Press DELETE during playback.
  5. Remote retrieval: Dial your number, press * during announcement, enter remote code (default 0000).

WARNING! Do not disconnect power while answering machine is in use to avoid message loss.

Advanced Features

Call Block: Add numbers via MENU > CALL BLOCK. Intercom: Press INTERCOM, select handset/base, press TALK. Phonebook: Store 50 entries with name/number. Call Waiting: Press FLASH to answer second call (service required).
