Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place base unit on a flat, stable surface away from electronic interference.

  1. Charge the handset: Insert battery, place handset on base for 7 hours initial charge.
  2. Connect telephone line: Plug line cord from wall jack to TEL LINE jack on base.
  3. Connect power: Plug AC adapter into base and wall outlet.

First-Time Setup

Using the Answering Machine

  3. Play messages: Press PLAY/STOP on base or handset.
  4. Delete messages: Press DELETE during or after playback.
  5. Remote playback: Call your number, enter remote access code (default 1111).

WARNING! Do not disconnect power while answering machine is in use to avoid losing messages.
