Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place base unit on a flat, stable surface.

  1. Charge the handset: Insert battery, place handset on base for 7 hours initial charge.
  2. Connect telephone line: Plug line cord from wall jack to TEL LINE port on base.
  3. Connect power: Plug AC adapter into base and wall outlet.
  4. Add extra handsets: Register each handset to the base unit following manual instructions.

WARNING! Use only the provided Panasonic power adapter. Ensure proper ventilation around base unit.

First-Time Setup

Power on base and handset; follow prompts.

  1. Set date and time: Press MENU, navigate to SETTINGS > DATE & TIME.
  2. Set answering machine: Press MENU, navigate to ANSWERING MACHINE > ON/OFF.

  3. Play messages: Press PLAY/STOP on base or handset.
  4. Remote playback: Call your number, press * during greeting, enter remote code (default 0000).
  5. Delete messages: Press DELETE during or after playback.

WARNING! Power outage may erase messages if not saved. Record important messages elsewhere.
