Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place base unit on a flat, stable surface away from electronic interference.

  1. Charge the handset: Insert battery into handset, place on base charger for 7 hours before first use.
  2. Connect telephone line: Plug one end of phone cord into TEL LINE jack on base, other end into wall jack.
  3. Connect power: Plug AC adapter into DC IN 9V jack on base, then into 120V AC outlet.
  4. Register additional handsets: Follow manual pairing procedure if adding extra handsets.

WARNING! Use only the provided Panasonic power adapter. Do not place near water or heat sources.

First-Time Setup

After installation, power on and configure basic settings.

  1. Set date and time: Press MENU, navigate to SETTINGS > DATE & TIME.

Tip: For best headset compatibility, use Panasonic-approved models.

Using the Answering Machine

Digital answering system with remote access.

  1. Record outgoing message (OGM): Press ANS/PLAY on base, follow prompts.
  2. Play messages: Press ANS/PLAY to listen; use SKIP/REPEAT during playback.
  3. Delete messages: Press DELETE during or after playback.
  4. Remote playback: Call your number, press * during OGM, enter remote code (default 0000).
  5. Set answer mode: Choose ANSWER ON, ANSWER OFF, or ANS ONLY via base button.

WARNING! Do not disconnect power or messages may be lost. Save important messages.

Advanced Features
