Installation

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place base unit on a flat, stable surface away from electronic interference.

Charge the handset: Insert battery, place handset on base charger for 7 hours before first use.
Connect telephone line: Plug the telephone line cord from the wall jack into the TEL LINE jack on the base.
Connect power: Plug the AC adapter into the DC IN 9V jack on the base and into a 120V AC outlet.
Install additional handsets: Register new handsets to the base unit following the manual instructions.

WARNING! Use only the provided Panasonic AC adapter and battery. Do not disassemble or short-circuit the battery.

First-Time Setup

After installation, power on the system and configure basic settings.

Controls and Settings

For additional handsets, place new handset in the base charger and press HANDSET LOCATOR on base for 5 seconds to enter registration mode.

Using the Answering Machine
