Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place base unit on stable surface away from electronic interference.

  1. Connect telephone line: Plug line cord into base unit TEL LINE jack and wall jack.
  2. Connect power: Plug AC adapter into base unit DC IN 9V jack and wall outlet.
  3. Install battery: Insert battery into handset, connect terminals, place handset on base to charge.
  4. Add extra handsets: Register additional handsets following manual instructions.

First-Time Setup

Power on base and handset; follow prompts.

Using the Answering Machine

  3. Play messages: Press PLAY/STOP on base or handset.
  4. Remote retrieval: Dial your number, press * during greeting, enter remote code (default 0000).
  5. Delete messages: Press DELETE during playback.

WARNING! Do not disconnect power or messages may be lost. Backup important messages.
