Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place base unit on flat surface.

  1. Charge handset: Insert battery into handset, place on base to charge for 7 hours before first use.
  2. Connect telephone line: Plug line cord into base TEL LINE jack and wall jack.
  3. Connect power: Plug AC adapter into base and electrical outlet.
  4. Install additional handsets: Register each handset to base following manual instructions.

WARNING! Use only supplied AC adapter and battery. Do not disassemble or short-circuit battery.

First-Time Setup

Power on base and handset; follow prompts.

  1. Set language: Press MENU, select LANGUAGE, choose ENGLISH (default).
  2. Set time/date: Press MENU, select SETTINGS, set current time and date.
  3. Set answering machine: Press MENU on base, set greeting and recording time.
  4. Register handsets: On base, press and hold PAGE until IN USE flashes, then press # on handset.

CAUTION! Keep away from water and heat sources. Use in upright position.

  3. Play messages: Press PLAY/STOP on base or remote access by dialing home number.
  4. Delete messages: Press DELETE during playback.
  5. Remote access: Dial home number, enter remote code (default 0000).
