Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place base unit on a flat, stable surface away from electronic interference.

  1. Connect telephone line: Plug one end of telephone line cord into TEL LINE jack on base, other end into wall telephone jack.
  2. Connect power: Plug AC adapter into DC IN 9V jack on base, then into AC outlet.
  3. Install handset battery: Insert battery into handset, connect terminals, place handset on base to charge for 7 hours before first use.

Using the Answering Machine

Digital recording of incoming messages and memos.

  1. Turn on/off: Press ANS ON/OFF on base.
  2. Record outgoing message: Press and hold MEMO/OGM, speak after beep, release when done.
  3. Play messages: Press PLAY/STOP on base or handset (INTERCOM then 7).
  4. Skip/Repeat: Press VOLUME up/down during playback.
  5. Delete messages: Press DELETE during or after playback.
  6. Remote access: Call from outside, after announcement enter remote code (default 111) to play messages.
  7. Memo record: Press MEMO/OGM briefly to record a memo for yourself.
