Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place base unit on stable surface away from electronic interference.

  1. Charge Handset: Insert battery into handset, place on base charger for 7 hours.
  2. Connect Telephone Line: Plug line cord into base unit LINE jack and wall jack.
  3. Connect Power: Plug AC adapter into base unit and wall outlet.
  4. Add Extra Handsets: Register additional handsets to base unit.

WARNING! Use only supplied Panasonic adapter. Do not place near microwaves or routers.

First-Time Setup

Power on base and handset; follow prompts.

  1. Set Language: Press MENU, select SETTINGS > LANGUAGE > ENGLISH.

Connecting Devices

Telephone Line: Use supplied cord to wall jack. Headset: Plug 2.5mm jack into handset. Additional Handsets: Register via base unit.

  1. Ensure base is powered and idle.
  2. On new handset, press and hold PAGE on base until IN USE light blinks.
  3. On handset, press and hold # until confirmation beep.

Tip: Keep base unit elevated for better signal transmission.

Using the Answering Machine

Digital system with remote access.

  1. Turn On/Off: Press ANS ON/OFF on base.
  2. Record Greeting: Press REC on base, speak after beep, press REC again.
  3. Play Messages: Press PLAY/STOP on base or handset MENU > ANS MESSAGES.
  4. Delete Messages: Press DELETE during playback.
  5. Remote Access: Dial your number, after greeting press remote code (default 0000) followed by #.
  6. Set Ring Count: MENU > ANSWERING SYSTEM > RINGS TO ANSWER (1-10).

WARNING! Do not disconnect power during recording to avoid data loss.

Advanced Features

Call Block: Add numbers via MENU > CALL BLOCK. Intercom: Press INTERCOM on handset, select target handset. Phonebook: Store 250 entries with names. Headset Mode: Plug in headset, press MENU > HEADSET MODE.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning. Wipe with dry, soft cloth. Do not use liquids or abrasive cleaners.
