Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place base unit on a flat, stable surface.

  1. Charge the handset: Insert battery, place on base charger for 7 hours before first use.
  2. Connect telephone line: Plug line cord from wall jack to TEL LINE jack on base.
  3. Connect power: Plug AC adapter into base and wall outlet.
  4. Register additional handsets: Follow on-screen prompts or press HANDSET LOCATOR on base.

WARNING! Use only the provided Panasonic AC adapter and battery. Do not disassemble.

First-Time Setup

After installation, power on the base and handset.

  1. Set language: Press MENU, select SETTINGS > LANGUAGE.

Using the Answering Machine

  1. Turn on: Press ANS ON/OFF on base.
  2. Record greeting: Press REC on base, speak after beep, press REC again to stop.
  3. Play messages: Press PLAY/STOP on base or handset.
  4. Delete messages: Press DELETE during playback.
  5. Remote access: Dial your number, after greeting press * and enter remote code (default 0000).

WARNING! Do not disconnect power while answering machine is in use to avoid data loss.

Advanced Features

Call Block: Add numbers via MENU > CALL BLOCK. Intercom: Press INTERCOM, select handset/base. Phonebook: Store names/numbers via MENU > PHONEBOOK.
