Installation

Tip: Avoid running telephone cord parallel to power cords to reduce noise.

Using the Answering System

Digital system records messages when you are unavailable.

  1. Record outgoing message: Press MENU, select ANS SYS, record greeting.
  2. Set rings to answer: Choose 2 to 10 rings or TOL (toll saver).
  3. Play messages: Press PLAY/STOP on base or handset.
  4. Delete messages: Press DELETE during playback.
  5. Remote retrieval: Call from outside, enter remote access code (default 0000).
  6. Announce Only Mode: Plays outgoing message but does not record.

WARNING! Do not place objects on answering system buttons; keep area clear.

Accessibility Features
