Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place base unit on stable surface near power outlet and telephone jack.

  1. Install batteries in handset: Insert rechargeable batteries into handset battery compartment.
  2. Connect telephone line: Plug telephone line cord from wall jack into LINE jack on base unit.
  3. Connect power: Plug AC adapter into base unit and wall outlet.
  4. Charge handset: Place handset on base unit charger to charge fully (approx. 7 hours).

First-Time Setup

Power on base and handset; follow prompts.

  1. Set date and time: Press MENU on handset, select SETTINGS, then DATE/TIME.

Using the Answering Machine
