Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place base unit on stable surface away from electronic interference.

  1. Connect telephone line: Plug telephone line cord into base unit TEL LINE jack and wall jack.
  2. Connect power: Plug AC adapter into base unit DC IN 9V jack and electrical outlet.
  3. Charge handset: Place handset in base or charger cradle; charge for 7 hours before first use.
  4. Install additional handsets: Register each handset to base following on-screen prompts.

WARNING! Use only Panasonic adapter. Do not place near water, heat sources, or microwave ovens.

First-Time Setup

After charging, power on handset; follow prompts.

  1. Set date and time: Press MENU, select SETTINGS > DATE & TIME.

  3. Set answering machine: Press ANS/PLAY on base to record outgoing message (OGM).
