Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place base unit on a flat, stable surface away from electronic interference.

  1. Connect telephone line: Plug one end of telephone line cord into TEL LINE jack on base, other end into wall telephone jack.
  2. Connect power: Plug AC adapter into DC IN 9V jack on base, then into AC outlet.
  3. Install handset battery: Insert battery into handset, connect terminals, place handset on base to charge for 7 hours before first use.
  4. Add additional handsets: Register each handset to base following manual instructions.

WARNING! Use only approved Panasonic battery and adapter. Do not place near water or heat sources.

First-Time Setup

After installation, power on base and handset; follow prompts.

  1. Set date and time: Press MENU on handset, select SETTINGS > DATE & TIME, enter current date/time.
  2. Set language: In SETTINGS menu, select LANGUAGE (default ENGLISH).
  3. Program answering machine: Press ANS/PLAY on base, record outgoing message (OGM).
  4. Register handsets: Place new handset on base, press and hold PAGE on base until IN USE light flashes, then press # on handset.

Using the Answering Machine

  3. Delete messages: Press DELETE during playback.
  4. Remote access: Call your number, after OGM plays, enter remote access code (default 0000) to listen to messages.
  5. Change number of rings: Menu > ANSWERING > RINGS, select 2-6 rings or TEL ONLY.

WARNING! Do not disconnect power or telephone line during recording; may cause memory loss.

Advanced Features

Call Block: Add numbers via menu or from call log. Intercom: Press INTERCOM on handset, enter handset number, press TALK. ECO Mode: Reduces power when handset is near base (enable in menu).

Care & Cleaning

Unplug power before cleaning. Wipe with soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquids or abrasive cleaners.
