Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place base unit on a flat, stable surface away from electronic interference.

  1. Charge handset: Connect AC adapter to base and outlet. Place handset on base to charge for 7 hours before first use.
  2. Connect telephone line: Plug one end of phone cord into base TEL LINE jack, other end into wall jack.
  3. Install battery: Insert battery pack into handset, aligning polarity. Charge fully.
  4. Add extra handsets: Register additional handsets to base following manual instructions.

WARNING! Use only supplied Panasonic adapter. Do not expose to water or extreme temperatures.

First-Time Setup

After installation, power on base and handset.

  1. Set language: Press MENU, select SETTINGS, then LANGUAGE (default ENGLISH).

Using the Answering Machine

Digital answering machine with 18-minute capacity.

  1. Turn on/off: Press ANS ON/OFF on base.
  2. Record outgoing message: Press RECORD on base, speak after beep, press RECORD again to stop.
  3. Play messages: Press PLAY/MSG on base or handset. Use VOLUME to adjust.
  4. Delete messages: During playback, press DELETE on handset or base.
  5. Skip messages: Press SKIP during playback to jump to next message.
  6. Remote playback: Call from outside line, enter remote access code (default 1111) to hear messages.

WARNING! Do not disconnect power or messages may be lost. Save important messages elsewhere.

Advanced Features

Call Block: Add numbers via CALL BLOCK button or menu; blocks up to 250 numbers. Intercom: Press INTERCOM on one handset, select other handset/base for private conversation. Eco Mode: Reduces power consumption; enable in SETTINGS menu.
