Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Phone handset and base unit
  • Power adapter (UK 3-pin)
  • Telephone line cable
  • Batteries (if required for handset)
  • Screwdriver (if wall mounting)

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location near a power outlet and telephone socket on a flat, stable surface.
  2. Connect Power Supply: Connect the power adapter to the base unit and plug into a standard UK 3-pin power outlet.
  3. Connect Telephone Line: Connect the telephone line cable from the base unit to your BT telephone socket (master socket recommended).
  4. Install Batteries: Insert rechargeable batteries into the handset if required by your model (check specifications).
  5. Charge Handset: Place the handset on the base unit charging cradle and allow to charge for at least 12 hours before first use.
  6. Power On: Switch on the base unit power and wait for the power indicator to light up.
  7. Test Connection: Lift the handset and listen for a dial tone to confirm proper installation.
Warning: Use only approved Panasonic power adapters and accessories. Installation should comply with UK telecommunications regulations.
