Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place base unit on a flat, stable surface.

Charge the handset: Insert battery into handset, place on base to charge for 7 hours before first use.
Connect telephone line: Plug one end of phone cord into TEL LINE jack on base, other end into wall jack.
Connect power: Plug AC adapter into DC IN 9V jack on base, then into electrical outlet.
Install additional handsets (if applicable): Place on charger and allow to charge fully.

First-Time Setup

After installation, power on the base and handset.

Using the Answering Machine
