Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Charge the Battery: Insert the battery into the handset and place it on the base unit for 7 hours initial charge.
  2. Connect Base Unit: Connect the telephone line cord from the base unit to your telephone wall jack.
  3. Power Connection: Connect the AC power adapter to the base unit and plug into a standard electrical outlet.
  4. Handset Registration: The handset will automatically register with the base unit - wait for registration tone.
  5. Date and Time Setup: Set the current date and time using the handset menu (Menu → Settings → Date/Time).
  6. Test Call: Make a test call to ensure proper installation and clear audio quality.
  7. Wall Mount Option: If wall mounting, use the wall mount bracket and ensure proper placement near power outlet.
Important: Use only Panasonic recommended batteries and accessories. Keep base unit away from other electronic devices to prevent interference.
