Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Telephone line cable
  • Power adapter
  • Batteries (for handset)
  • Screwdriver (if wall mounting)
  • Wall mounting template (optional)

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location near telephone jack and power outlet, away from electronic interference sources.
  2. Install Batteries: Insert rechargeable batteries into the handset following polarity markings.
  3. Connect Telephone Line: Connect the telephone line cable from the base unit to the telephone wall jack.
  4. Power Connection: Connect the power adapter to the base unit and plug into a standard electrical outlet.
  5. Charge Handset: Place handset on base unit and allow to charge for at least 7 hours before first use.
  6. Set Time and Date: Follow on-screen prompts to set current time and date for answering machine functions.
  7. Record Greeting: Record your personal answering machine greeting following the voice prompts.
Warning: Use only Panasonic-approved power adapters and batteries. Do not install near water or in humid environments.
