Installation

Unpack and inspect all contents. Choose a central, well-ventilated location for the base station.

Charge the Handset: Insert the rechargeable battery into the handset and place it on the base station to charge for at least 7 hours before first use.
Connect the Base: Plug the telephone line cord from the wall jack into the "LINE" jack on the back of the base.
Connect Power: Plug the AC power adapter into the base and then into a standard 120V AC outlet.
Install Additional Handsets: For extra handsets, charge them on their own charger or on the main base if compatible.

WARNING! Use only the provided Panasonic power adapter. Do not place the base near other electronic devices that may cause interference.

First-Time Setup

After installation, the system will initialize. Follow on-screen prompts on the handset.

Set Date and Time: Use the handset MENU to navigate to SETTINGS > DATE & TIME.
Set Language: In the SETTINGS menu, select LANGUAGE (default is ENGLISH).
Register Handsets: If using additional handsets, place them on the base and press and hold the PAGE button on the base until the handset beeps and shows "Registered".

Using the Answering Machine

Turn On/Off: Press ANSWER ON/OFF on base. Light on when on.

Play Messages: Press PLAY/STOP on base. Use VOLUME to adjust playback level.
Delete Messages: Press DELETE/SKIP during playback.
Remote Access: Call your number, after announcement, enter your remote code (default 0000) to play messages.
