Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Telephone line cable
  • Power adapter
  • Screwdriver (if wall mounting)
  • Batteries (for handset)
  • Wall mounting template (optional)

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location near telephone line jack and power outlet, away from electronic interference sources.
  2. Connect Telephone Line: Connect the telephone line cable from the wall jack to the base unit's LINE port.
  3. Power Connection: Connect the power adapter to the base unit and plug into a standard electrical outlet.
  4. Handset Setup: Insert batteries into the handset and place it on the base unit for initial charging.
  5. Wall Mounting (Optional): Use the wall mounting template to mark screw positions, then mount the base unit securely.
  6. Initial Charge: Allow the handset to charge for at least 16 hours before first use for optimal battery performance.
  7. Test Operation: Make a test call to ensure proper installation and clear audio quality.
Warning: Use only Panasonic-approved accessories. Installation near microwave ovens or other wireless devices may cause interference.

Troubleshooting
