Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place base unit on stable surface.

  1. Charge handset battery: Connect power adapter to base, plug into AC outlet. Place handset on base for 7 hours initial charge.
  2. Connect telephone line: Plug telephone line cord into base unit LINE jack and wall telephone jack.
  3. Install additional handsets: Register each handset to base following manual instructions.

First-Time Setup

  3. Delete messages: Press DELETE during playback.
  4. Remote retrieval: Call your number, after outgoing message, enter remote access code (default 0000).
  5. Set number of rings: MENU > ANSWERING MACHINE > NUMBER OF RINGS (2-9).

WARNING! Do not disconnect power while answering machine is recording or playing messages.

Advanced Features

Call Block: Add numbers via MENU > CALL BLOCK. Intercom: Press INTERCOM on one handset, then dial handset number (1-6). Phonebook: Store, edit, search contacts. ECO Mode: Reduces power when idle (enable in SETTINGS).
